ECO Start/Stop System

An ECO Start/Stop system automatically shuts off the engine at stoplights and other idle situations, to save fuel and reduce emissions. As soon as the driver lifts off the brake, the engine instantly restarts, for immediate acceleration response. The ECO Start/Stop system can also be shut off by the driver at any time.

9-Speed Automatic Transmission With Shift Paddles

With a greater range of ratios and shorter steps between gears, the new 9-speed automatic changes gears more quickly but nearly imperceptibly. A fifth "Individual" mode allows you to create a mode of your own, even letting you set the transmission for purely manual shifting.

The rear seatbacks fold down in a 40/20/40 split, letting you to expand the cargo capacity of your GLC in a variety of configurations, up to XX.X cu ft. Pushbuttons in the cargo area power-fold the left and right seatbacks in a 60/40 split. You can also fold the center section independently, to fit longer items like skis between two rear passengers. The seatbacks can also be locked in a slightly more upright position, expanding the cargo area while still seating three rear passengers

Power-Folding Side Mirrors

The side mirrors can be folded in at the touch of a button, adding convenience when parked in tight quarters. You can also program the mirrors to fold automatically when you remote-lock the vehicle, then unfold upon unlocking.
